What we collect
Family Pool Hotels has no accounts, sign-ups or forms that store your details. If you email us at hello@familypoolhotels.com, we keep your email only as long as we need it to reply or update a hotel page.
Cookies
Analytics, only if you say yes. When you first visit, we ask whether we can use Google Analytics. Nothing from Google loads unless you tap Accept. If you do, Google Analytics sets first-party cookies (named _ga and _ga_…) that last up to two years and give your browser a random ID, so we can count visits, see which pages are read and which buttons are tapped (for example Check prices, Save or Search). We don’t send Google your name or email, advertising features are off, and we only look at the figures in aggregate. If you tap Reject, no analytics cookies are set. You can change your mind at any time with Cookie settings at the bottom of every page; withdrawing deletes our Google Analytics cookies from your browser.
Your cookie choice. We remember whether you accepted or rejected in your browser’s local storage, so we don’t ask on every page.
Saved hotels. When you tap the heart on a hotel, we keep the list in your browser’s local storage on that device so the Saved page can show it. It never leaves your device and we can’t see it. Clear it any time with “Clear all” on the Saved page or by clearing your browser’s site data.
Visitor statistics. Cloudflare also counts page views for us without cookies and without identifying you.
Services that load on our pages
Like most websites, our pages load a few things from other providers. When they do, your browser shares technical details such as your IP address and browser type with them:
- Cloudflare hosts the site and protects it from abuse. It processes basic request logs.
- Google Fonts supplies the fonts we use.
- Google Analytics measures visits, only if you accept (see above).
- OpenStreetMap supplies the map tiles, and cdnjs (run by Cloudflare) supplies the map code, on pages with a map.
Each provider handles that data under its own privacy policy.
Booking links
The Check prices buttons go through Stay22, our affiliate partner, before reaching a booking site such as Booking.com or Expedia. Stay22 and the booking site record that you came from us so a booking can be credited to us, and they may set cookies once you are on their sites. Their own privacy policies apply. Nothing is stored in your browser by our pages when you click.
Links to other sites
When you click through to a hotel’s website or a booking site, that site’s own privacy policy and cookies apply.
Your rights
You can ask what personal data we hold about you (usually just an email you sent us), and ask us to correct or delete it. Email hello@familypoolhotels.com and we’ll reply within 30 days.

We’ll update this page if anything changes, and change the date below.
